Job Description üConversion of PR to PO within the defined timeline. üComplete project material procurement ownership for assign project & tracking of materials for on-time deliveries (OTD). üPrepare & maintain procurement tracker with deliverables for the assign project. üCoordination with the concerned internal stake holders and liaise with the vendors for technical vetting and commercials. üVendor development/Selections for high quality products with competitive pricing. üNegotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company and project the savings appropriately. üManage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule, and quality to meet department goal. üReview and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy & product quality. üComplete cycle of "Purchase to Pay" to be followed up to payment of vendors. üEnsure commercial, legal, and contractual compliance all the procurement. transactions. üSupport safe workplace cultures and compliance with Smiths EH&S üAccountable for execution of direct materials and subcontract purchasing in line with Smiths Group PLC Code of Conduct, ensuring that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships üNegotiate improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods üControl Direct material costs and achieve savings as per annual targets üDevelop ideas to improve operational efficiency, add value and support continuous improvement culture and personal accountability in area of responsibility. Qualifications üDiploma or University Degree üMinimum 3 years of overall experience with 2+ years in supply chain/ Purchase üExperience in procuring/sourcing process-based measuring instruments, piping components, pumps, coolers, accumulators, motors etc. üExperience in procuring/sourcing on fabrication API Plans, spools, skids, auxiliary systems etc is an added advantage. üExperience in handling import items and customs knowledge will be preferred. üSupplier OTD to Promise üSupplier OTD to Request üReq to Release LT üPOs with payment issues üBudgetary project cost vs actual üPPV Savings realized üResponse lead times for quotes, requisitions, PO acknowledgements üSupplier NC closure rates Additional Information With colleagues stretching across the globe, we are proud of our diversity.
