The Internet and Mass Scale Infrastructure Group (I&MI) Sales Strategy, Planning, and Operations team is part of the Global Specialist Strategy, Planning, and Operations (GSSP) organization and drives strategy, planning, and operations initiatives in support of Cisco’s multi-billion-dollar Internet and Mass Scale Infrastructure Sales business.We work hard and have fun doing it. What You'll Do
You will be a business partner to the I&MI Global sales specialists leaders. This highly visible role will actively contribute to strategy development, building & executing operational plans, and driving transformation with the global I&MI sales teams. You will engage with Global I&MI leaders, the Global Specialist SP&O organization, I&MI specialists, business units, partners, and other cross-functional organizations.Role & Responsibilities include:
Business Trends, Analysis & Reporting:
Assess business trends using bookings, pipeline and product specific data to drive appropriate business accountability, operational efficiency gains, and GTM strategy understanding. Software licensing and offer structure knowledge a plus. QBRs, Dashboard support, forecast support.
Drive and manage key GTM initiatives and programs
: Provide project management for select initiatives and incentive programs.
Sales acceleration
: Provide support as needed for field training programs; business scaling initiatives, deal acceleration programs and various events.
Cross-functional engagement & alignment
: Drive cross organizational collaboration, alignment and execution around Fiscal new year planning, coverage models, BU product and offer structure, people and communities initiatives and sales campaigns.
Who You'll Work With
The successful candidate will work closely with the SP&O team members, global I&MI sales leaders, various worldwide sales teams, I&MI specialist teams, account teams, Business Units (engineering), marketing, channels, and other cross-functional organizations.

- Business Insight – Proven understanding of Cisco’s sales cycle, organization, and GTM objectives: business unit, sales and partners
- 5+ years of strategy, operations, finance or related experience
- Minimum BA/BS; MBA a plus
- Experience driving forecast cadence & operational activities
- Strong project management and analytical skills and proficiency with business intelligence tools
- Experience supporting GTM
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with business intelligence tools
- Ability to interpret business trends and make recommendations to senior leadership
- Ability to influence and govern strategically
- Skilled at interfacing cross-functionally at multiple levels of leadership
- Results and metric oriented
- Tools proficiency: Required: Excel (Pivot-Tables, etc.), PowerPoint (presentation building), FINBI, SFDC; Plus but not required: Cisco Ready, MBR
