Role Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for leading the store team, delivering an elegant and customer-centric experience, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires balancing sales performance with the brand’s philosophy of personal, effortless jewellery and a culture of calm confidence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Experience
· Ensure every customer is greeted warmly and guided with patience, respect, and courtesy.
· Understand client needs, style, lifestyle, and occasions to offer suitable recommendations.
· Maintain an environment where jewellery feels personal and not push-sold.
· Handle high-value clients and repeat customers with discretion and relationship-building.
· Resolve escalations professionally and ensure a smooth buying journey.
2. Sales & Business Growth
· Own monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
· Drive upselling, cross-selling, and repeat engagement without aggressive selling.
· Monitor KPIs such as footfall conversion, average bill value, repeat purchases, and team performance.
· Share customer insights and product demand patterns with the leadership team.
3. Team Leadership
· Lead, motivate, and train sales executives.
· Conduct coaching sessions on brand language, product knowledge, grooming, and customer etiquette.
· Allocate tasks, manage shift scheduling, attendance, and performance.
· Build a positive, supportive work culture rooted in mindfulness and respect.
4. Store Operations & Compliance
· Supervise day-to-day operations—inventory, stock movement, showcase displays, vault handling.
· Ensure accurate billing, documentation, and POS activities.
· Maintain visual merchandising standards aligned with brand aesthetics: clean, minimal, and thoughtfully curated.
· Coordinate stock transfers, replenishment, vendor coordination, and audits as needed.
· Adhere to safety, hygiene, and security protocols for high-value products.
5. Reporting & Administration
· Track daily sales, customer data, and team performance.
· Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management.
· Monitor after-sales support, exchange requests, and customer feedback.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree
· 3–5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in jewellery or luxury brands.
· Strong communication, client-handling, and leadership skills.
· Ability to manage premium clientele and high-value transactions.
· Comfortable working in a startup culture with evolving processes and responsibilities.
· Patient listener with strong relationship-building ability.
· Attention to detail and a natural sense of presentation and aesthetics.
· Ownership mindset, proactive, and solution-oriented.
· Maintains integrity, discretion, and professionalism in all interactions.
Work Schedule
· 6-day work week with rotational off.
· Availability during weekends, festivals, and peak sales periods.
Compensation
Salary Range: ₹15,000 per month (based on experience and fit).
Probation Period: 3 months.
Incentive Structure:
After successful completion of probation, you will be eligible for a performance-based incentive structure
