Job Title: Senior Purchase Executive

Location : Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh
Department: Procurement / Supply Chain
Reporting To: Purchase Manager / Head of Procurement
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Management:
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve disputes
• Procurement Operations:
• Execute purchase orders based on inventory needs and requisitions
• Ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of materials
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores for replenishment
• Cost Optimization & Budgeting:
• Analyze purchase trends and suggest cost-saving opportunities
• Assist in preparing procurement budgets and forecasts
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts
• Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory regulations
• Market Research:
• Stay updated on market trends, new products, and alternative suppliers
• Conduct comparative analysis to support strategic sourcing

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
• 4–6 years of experience in procurement or purchase operations
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Tally, etc.)
• Excellent communication and vendor coordination abilities
• Knowledge of import/export procedures (if applicable)

• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or trading sectors
• Familiarity with ISO standards and audit procedures
• Ability to handle high-volume procurement with accuracy
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and deadline-focused
