Junior Accountant – Job Description

Position Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance team in managing daily accounting tasks. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure accurate financial records
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Maintain accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Help with payroll processing and expense tracking and Gst.
• Maintain organized financial records and databases
• Assist senior accountants with audits and tax filings
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships count!)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with basic tax regulations and financial reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
