Purchase Executive – Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Manager with hands-on experience in Tally ERP to oversee procurement operations, vendor management, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain vendor relationships
• Create and manage purchase orders using Tally ERP
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production teams
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
• Analyze market trends and pricing to optimize procurement costs
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules
• Collaborate with finance and accounts teams for invoice processing and payment tracking

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement
• Proficiency in Tally ERP for purchase order creation, inventory tracking, and vendor ledger management
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Knowledge of taxation, HSN codes, and import/export documentation is a plus
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
