Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain day-to-day accounting entries (AP, AR, GL, inventory accounting) Manage reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor/supplier statements Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual closing. Cost Accounting & Inventory Control Monitor production costs, raw material consumption, and yield analysis Conduct cost variance analysis and suggest cost-saving initiatives. Maintain and audit inventory records including RM, FG, and WIP. Financial Reporting & Budgeting Prepare MIS reports, P&L statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets. Support budgeting and forecasting processes for the plant. Track actuals vs budget and report deviations. Taxation & Compliance Handle GST, TDS, and excise-related compliances specific to the alcohol/beverage industry. Coordinate with statutory bodies for tax filings and assessments. Ensure adherence to state excise laws applicable to beer manufacturing. Audit & Internal Controls Coordinate with internal and external auditors. Implement and monitor internal financial controls. Assist in compliance with SOPs and audit findings. Vendor & Payroll Management Manage vendor payments, credit terms, and reconciliations. Oversee payroll processing in coordination with HR and compliance with statutory deductions. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting; CA Inter/MBA Finance preferred. 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing setup (beverage industry preferred). Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and excise regulations in the liquor industry. Proficiency in Tally ERP/MS Excel. Key Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Eye for detail and process-driven. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Familiarity with ERP/accounting software. Understanding of manufacturing costing and supply chain finance.
