Role Description

Social Media Lead


Key Responsibilities


Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Plan, schedule, and manage daily social media posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, etc.).
  • Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with brand campaigns, product launches, and cultural moments.
  • Ensure all content reflects the brand’s voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.


Growth & Engagement

  • Develop strategies to increase followers, engagement, and reach across all platforms.
  • Drive community engagement by responding to comments, DMs, and fostering meaningful interactions with followers.
  • Identify opportunities for collaborations, influencer partnerships, and co-branded campaigns to expand audience base.


Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics (reach, impressions, engagement rate, follower growth).
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize content strategy.
  • Stay updated on algorithm changes and platform updates to adapt posting strategies.


Creative Collaboration

  • Work closely with copywriters, designers, and video teams to create visually appealing and engaging content.
  • Contribute fresh ideas for social-first campaigns, reels, and viral trends.
  • Experiment with new formats, features, and creative approaches to keep content relevant and innovative.


Research & Trendspotting

  • Stay on top of emerging trends, pop culture moments, and platform innovations.
  • Identify relevant hashtags, challenges, and conversation opportunities for brand participation.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking to ensure client’s social presence stays competitive and unique.


Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

Core Skills

  • Proven track record of growing social media accounts and delivering measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, YouTube Studio, Google Analytics).
  • Strong content sense — able to identify what will resonate with audiences.

  • Creative thinker with a knack for storytelling through visuals and captions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple platforms and deadlines simultaneously.
