This role requires someone who understands U.S. news cycles, thrives in a fast-paced digital newsroom, and can manage a team while ensuring high editorial and visual standards.You will lead the end-to-end social operations — from content planning and scheduling to analytics, trend spotting, and real-time optimization.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesLead daily social media publishing across Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms, ensuring timely and high-quality output.Identify viral stories, breaking news, and trending topics across U.S. entertainment and politics, and guide the team on real-time coverage.Manage and mentor the social media team, assign tasks, review posts, and maintain strong editorial and visual standards across all content.Coordinate with editors, writers, and video teams to streamline workflows and support fast-turnaround content.Track daily analytics, monitor KPIs, and use insights to optimize posting patterns, formats, headlines, and thumbnails.Ensure strict adherence to MEAWW’s brand guidelines, editorial accuracy, compliance rules, and platform best practices.Oversee shift handovers, maintain posting calendars, and ensure consistent content delivery across time zones.Requirements3–5 years of experience in social media management, digital news, or audience engagement roles.Proven expertise in running high-volume social media pages for a news or entertainment brand.Strong understanding of U.S. entertainment, celebrity culture, trending news, and social platforms.Proficiency with Meta Business Suite, Twitter/X tools, YouTube Studio, TikTok insights, and scheduling tools.Excellent written communication, headline-writing, and trend-spotting skills.Ability to manage a team, work under pressure, and handle rapid turnarounds.Prior night shift experience or comfort with U.S.-aligned working hours.Nice to HaveExperience with video-based social formats (Reels, Shorts, TikTok).Understanding of audience psychology and platform-specific storytelling.Hands-on experience with Canva or basic design/editing tools.BenefitsWhy Join MEAWW?Work with one of the fastest-growing global digital media organizations.Lead high-impact social media operations with millions of daily viewers.Fast career growth, ownership-driven role, and freedom to experiment.Collaborative international team working across the U.S. and India.
