As part of our fast-growing marketing team, we’re looking for a passionate and analytical SEO Specialist who can help us strengthen our digital footprint, enhance search visibility, and drive measurable business results through advanced SEO strategies.
Position Overview
As an SEO Specialist at i95Dev, you will play a key role in developing and executing SEO strategies that improve organic visibility, domain authority, and lead generation across our web platforms. You will conduct keyword research, perform on-page and off-page optimizations, manage link-building campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with content and technical teams to deliver exceptional results.
You’ll also help support SEO initiatives for client projects, ensuring top-tier technical audits, optimized content delivery, and data-backed recommendations that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Authority & Keyword Ranking (60%)
- Conduct keyword research, competitor benchmarking, and link analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize website and content assets (blogs, landing pages, videos, etc.) using best on-page SEO practices.
- Plan and execute off-page SEO strategies, including link building, guest posts, and outreach campaigns.
- Collaborate with the content team to identify guest posting opportunities, develop relevant content, and track engagement metrics.
- Mentor junior team members and help define best practices for link acquisition and brand authority building.
- Drive traffic to key campaigns using multi-channel promotion (SEO, content marketing, PR, social distribution).
2. Analytics & Reporting (20%)
- Analyze website traffic, conversion data, and keyword performance to identify optimization opportunities.
- Perform regular SEO and technical audits to detect and resolve indexing, speed, or content duplication issues.
- Prepare and maintain SEO performance reports (authority score, backlinks, keyword rankings, Google Analytics, etc.) and share insights with leadership.
3. Digital Marketing for Client Projects (20%)
- Conduct SEO audits for client and pre-sales activities, covering site structure, mobile optimization, speed, and crawlability.
- Identify on-page and off-page SEO improvements for client websites and assist with execution.
- Provide actionable insights on Google Search Console and Analytics data to improve search visibility and engagement.
4. Learning & Upskilling
- Stay updated with Google algorithm changes, emerging SEO tools, and AI-driven optimization techniques.
- Contribute at least one blog per month on SEO trends or marketing best practices.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of analytics, keyword tools, and automation for SEO insights.
5. Organizational Hygiene
- Follow standard company processes for time tracking, leave applications, and reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (content, design, tech, and marketing).
Key Result Areas (KRAs) & Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Your performance will be measured across multiple focus areas. A major portion of your evaluation will depend on Authority and Keyword Ranking, where success is defined by improvements in domain and page authority, the number and quality of backlinks, keyword visibility, website traffic, and lead generation.
- A significant part of your performance will also come from Client Projects, where total billable hours, pre-sales contributions, and client satisfaction will play key roles.
- In the area of Analytics and Reporting, you’ll be evaluated on your ability to create timely, accurate, and data-driven reports with actionable insights.
- Operational and Compliance goals include maintaining process discipline—completing timesheets, attending meetings regularly, and adhering to company policies.
- Learning and Innovation will be assessed based on the new skills acquired, the number of ideas contributed to improve team efficiency, and your ability to leverage new tools or techniques.
- Finally, Collaboration will be measured through peer and cross-team feedback, ensuring a cooperative, high-performing work culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of hands-on SEO experience in an agency or in-house digital marketing environment.
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Moz.
- Experience in link building, guest posting, and outreach campaigns.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals as they relate to SEO.
- Understanding of content strategy, keyword mapping, and UX-driven SEO.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with AI-based SEO tools or automation platforms (a plus).
- Google Analytics / SEO certifications preferred.
- Experience working with eCommerce or B2B websites.
