Role Summary:

The Senior Account Manager – Recruitment will play a leadership role, managing client accounts, driving recruitment strategy, leading delivery teams, and ensuring consistent achievement of hiring targets. This role requires hands-on expertise in recruitment, strategic thinking, strong client management skills, and experience in leading and mentoring teams.


Key Responsibilities:

Client & Business Management:

  • Act as the single point of contact for key client accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Understand client business needs, hiring plans, and talent challenges to offer tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Provide regular client reporting, manage escalations, and ensure client satisfaction.

Team Leadership & People Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters (3-8 recruiters depending on project size).
  • Set team targets, monitor performance, and drive accountability.
  • Provide coaching, upskilling, and professional development to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture focused on results and continuous improvement.

Recruitment Delivery:

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment process from JD finalization to onboarding.
  • Manage multiple mandates simultaneously, ensuring timely closures with quality candidates.
  • Conduct advanced level screening/interviewing for critical positions.
  • Monitor and improve sourcing strategies across channels (job portals, LinkedIn, headhunting, internal database, etc.)
  • Ensure recruitment processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with client SLAs.

Strategy & Process Improvement:

  • Analyze hiring trends, market intelligence, and competitor activity to provide insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes, candidate experience, and delivery models.
  • Contribute to business development activities by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Role Requirements:

    For IT Hiring Position:

    • Deep understanding of IT industry roles (Developers, Architects, Cloud, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, etc.).
    • Technical screening expertise with ability to engage both clients and candidates at a technical level.

    For Non-IT Hiring Position:

    • Strong experience hiring across functions like Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, BFSI, FMCG, Healthcare, etc.
    • Ability to manage large-scale hiring projects and leadership hiring assignments.
  • General:

    • 7-12 years of strong recruitment experience, including at least 3 years in a team management or leadership role.
    • Proven track record of managing multiple clients and delivering consistent results.
    • Excellent people management, mentoring, and leadership skills.
    • Strong business acumen with ability to engage CXOs/Business Heads.
    • Hands-on expertise in using ATS, job portals, and sourcing tools.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent will be an added advantage.
