About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Odoo Developer to lead the design, customization, and deployment of Odoo ERP solutions, specifically tailored for the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8–9 years of hands-on experience in managing and executing full-cycle ERP implementations . This role demands a deep understanding of Odoo's architecture, proficiency in multiple module developments, and a strong grasp of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Odoo ERP Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules across various business functions, including CRM, Sales, Inventory, Accounting, and Manufacturing. Conduct FIT/GAP analyses to align Odoo's out-of-the-box functionalities with business requirements. Propose and implement solutions to address business challenges using Odoo's capabilities . Manufacturing Domain Expertise: Customize and optimize Odoo's Manufacturing module, leveraging features like Bill of Materials (BoM), Work Centers, Routings, and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) to enhance production efficiency. Implement quality control measures, traceability, and maintenance management within the manufacturing workflows . Integration & Migration: Integrate Odoo with third-party applications using REST APIs, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, and other protocols. Manage data migration tasks, ensuring data integrity during transitions from legacy systems to Odoo . Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within the Odoo environment. Optimize code and database queries to ensure scalability and responsiveness. Collaboration & Leadership: Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to junior developers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and project managers, to gather requirements and deliver solutions . Testing & Documentation: Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed modules and customizations. Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field . Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL. Strong understanding of Odoo's ORM, API, and module development. Experience with version control systems like Git . Domain Expertise: Extensive experience in implementing and customizing Odoo solutions for the manufacturing industry. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including production planning, inventory management, and quality control. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to mentor junior developers and lead technical teams. Preferred Qualifications Odoo certification(s) demonstrating proficiency in Odoo development. Experience with Agile development methodologies.
