Senior Odoo Developer

Role & responsibilities

Position Objective We are seeking a Senior Odoo Developer to craft and enhance Odoo applications that streamline critical business operations. The role demands strong expertise in Odoo to deliver robust, scalable, and secure ERP solutions, with a focus on modules like Project Management, Inventory, Sales, Purchase Order, CRM, Manufacturing, Accounting, Human Resources, and Website Builder. You will create seamless APIs while leveraging Odoos architecture to meet complex business needs. Job Description and Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Odoo modules, including Project Management, Inventory, Sales, Purchase Order, CRM, Manufacturing, Accounting, Human Resources, and Website Builder, to support diverse business processes.
• Design workflows and automation to align with organizational goals, such as optimizing B2B/B2C operations, supply chain logistics, or e-commerce platforms.
• Troubleshoot and enhance Odoo applications to ensure smooth performance and scalability across multiple modules.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases, focusing on efficient design and performance for complex data structures.
• Build and integrate APIs to connect Odoo with third-party systems, enabling seamless data flow for varied applications.
• Customize user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to improve usability across front-end components.
• Ensure Odoo solutions adhere to security best practices and access controls, especially for sensitive financial and HR data.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code, emphasizing modular and reusable design principles.
• Perform testing, monitor performance, and document solutions thoroughly for all implemented modules.
• Deploy solutions in testing and production environments, leveraging tools like Docker or Odoo.sh.
• Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions across diverse business functions.
• Guide junior developers, promote best practices, and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Explore new tools and approaches to enhance the development process, including CI/CD pipelines and module interoperability. Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on Odoo development and module customization experience, spanning multiple modules.
• Strong Python programming skills with a focus on clean, effective, and modular code.
• Deep understanding of Odoo’s framework, architecture, and module interdependencies.
• Experience designing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases for multi-module environments.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end customization, including Website Builder enhancements.
