Senior Odoo Developer

As a Senior Odoo Developer at MarsDevs, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom Odoo modules and features. Your role will involve working on both backend (Python, PostgreSQL) and frontend (JavaScript, XML, QWeb) components, customizing and implementing Odoo modules, writing clean and efficient code, and creating unit tests to ensure application quality. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, lead development teams, participate in daily standups, and effectively communicate with international clients and cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will maintain version control and adhere to best development practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy custom Odoo modules and features. - Work on both backend (Python, PostgreSQL) and frontend (JavaScript, XML, QWeb) components. - Customize and implement Odoo modules including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Subcontracting, and E-commerce. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. - Create and execute unit tests to ensure application quality. - Collaborate closely with functional consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Lead and manage development teams, providing mentorship and code reviews. - Participate in daily standups and effectively communicate with international clients and cross-functional teams. - Maintain version control and adhere to best development practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development. - Strong proficiency in Python and Odoo ORM. - Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, QWeb. - Experience in working with PostgreSQL and database schema design. - Demonstrated experience with unit testing and code versioning tools like Git. - Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proven experience in team management and leadership. - Ability to work independently, handling multiple priorities. - Willingness to work in the USA shift (5:00 PM - 2:00 AM IST). Preferred Qualifications: - Odoo Certification(s) are a plus. - Experience working in agile development environments. - Exposure to CI/CD processes and DevOps tools.,
