Senior Manager

The Senior Manager - Treasury is responsible for overseeing the company’s global cash management, liquidity planning, investments, debt management, and banking relationships. The role ensures optimal utilization of funds, risk management, compliance with financial covenants, and alignment with corporate finance strategy to support growth and profitability objectives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Cash & Liquidity Management • Manage daily cash flow, forecast short- and long-term liquidity needs. • Optimize working capital across regions and entities. • Implement global cash pooling and intercompany funding strategies. Ensure efficient repatriation of funds and foreign currency optimization. 2. Investment & Debt Management • Monitor debt covenants, interest costs, and repayment schedules on real-time basis. • Support in real-time updates to management on the covenants to assist in M&A decisions. • Evaluate and execute investment strategies for surplus funds within approved risk parameters. • Manage corporate borrowings, including short-term loans, bonds, and credit facilities. 3. Strategic Planning & Reporting • Support in capital structure planning, M&A financing, and cash flow strategy. • Prepare periodic treasury dashboards, liquidity reports, and risk analyses for leadership. • Participate in corporate finance initiatives, including fundraising and investment evaluations. 4. Banking & Financial Relationships • Manage and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, rating agencies, and financial institutions. • Negotiate credit lines, banking fees, and treasury service agreements. • Oversee opening/closing of bank accounts and ensure centralized control. 5. Treasury Operations & Controls • Oversee treasury accounting, settlements, and reconciliations. • Implement and maintain Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and automation initiatives. • Ensure SOX/internal controls compliance and timely audit support. 6. Risk Management • Establish policy to evaluate risk profile of new clients and maintain awareness of changes to existing clients • Manage foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate exposures. • Develop and execute hedging strategies as per company policy. • Monitor global market conditions impacting liquidity and funding. Qualifications & Experience: Education: CA / MBA (Finance) / CPA / CFA preferred. Experience: 7–12 years of relevant treasury experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role. Industry: Exposure to multinational environments, preferably in IT services sectors. Strong understanding of cash management, banking products, FX markets, and treasury accounting. Key Skills: • Strategic financial planning and liquidity management. • Strong analytical and quantitative ability. • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills. • High proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial modeling. • Understanding of IFRS / US GAAP treasury-related reporting. • Strong ethics, control orientation, and attention to detail.
