Senior Manager Transactional Finance (AP & AR)

WHATS THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?

The Senior Manager Transactional Finance will lead the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely processing of all transactions. The role is accountable for driving process standardisation, automation, and service excellence across the transactional finance landscape. This leader will foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring that KPIs, SLAs, and compliance standards are consistently met.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?

• Lead, coach, and develop the AP and AR teams to deliver high-quality transactional finance services.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level metrics to drive efficiency and performance.
• Implement process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
• Ensure strong financial controls, policy compliance, and alignment with internal audit standards.
• Partner with Procurement, Commercial, and Finance stakeholders to enhance end-to-end P2P and O2C processes.
• Oversee all month-end activities relating to AP and AR to ensure accurate reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned to finance transformation and shared services strategy.
• Build a customer-focused, service-oriented culture within the finance operations function.

WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?

To stand out in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 1012 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in people leadership roles managing AP, AR or wider transactional finance teams.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and developing talent.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end P2P and O2C processes and control frameworks.
• Demonstrable experience in setting and monitoring KPIs to drive performance.
• Strong background in process improvement and system optimisation, ideally within a shared service or centralised finance environment.
• ERP experience (SAP preferred).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset with ability to balance operational detail and strategic delivery.
