Job Summary: Senior Manager Sales Training is entrusted inshaping the capability and effectiveness of our sales force. The role will playa critical part in building a high-performance culture, driving salesproductivity, and aligning learning strategies with business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive sales training programs (induction, refresher, upskilling, and leadership modules) tailored for pharma sales teamsacross geographies and business units.
Conductin-depth product training to ensure sales associates and first-line managersdemonstrate strong product and competitive knowledge.
Collaborateclosely with sales leadership to ensure alignment of training content withbrand strategy, brand positioning, and customer engagement plans.
Coach andmentor field teams, Area Sales Managers, and Regional Sales Managers tostrengthen field effectiveness, consultative selling, and objection-handlingtechniques.
Conductregular training needs analysis (TNA) using performance dashboards, fieldfeedback, and competency assessments to identify and close skill gaps.
Developsales capability frameworks and certification processes to establish consistentperformance benchmarks and quality standards across roles.
Own thedesign and delivery of Leadership Development Programs (LDPs) to groomhigh-potential talent for future leadership roles.
Facilitatein-field training and real-time coaching through joint fieldwork, role plays, and situational learning sessions.
Monitorand measure training effectiveness and ROI using defined KPIs, feedback loops, post-training evaluations, and field impact metrics.
Create andmanage training content repositories and job aids that support ongoing fieldlearning and reinforcement.
Champion aculture of continuous learning and performance excellence, acting as a trustedadvisor to business leaders on sales capability strategy.
Skills Required
1. Minimum 15 years of experience in pharma salesand training roles, with a proven track record in team development andperformance enhancement.
2. Prior experience in pharmaceutical companies
3. Deep understanding of the fertility industry, including patient journey, treatment landscape, and provider ecosystem.
4. Experience in delivering sales training and coachingto field teams.
5. Exceptional communication, presentation, andinterpersonal skills.
6. Ability to influence and engage senior salesstakeholders.
Open to travel across regions for trainingimplementation and coaching.
