We’ve worked on iconic projects like Tata Bombay House and Hyatt Regency Dehradun, in collaboration with top architectural and interior design firms.


Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Manager – Business Development with a proven background in B2B sales, in Baaya Design’s chosen segments like Hospitality/Public Spaces/allied premium sectors to lead growth. This role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-driven professional who can build a strong pipeline of high-value projects, develop long-term key accounts and drive repeat revenue. You will work closely with our design and production teams to craft compelling, insight-led pitches, convert premium residential and commercial opportunities and expand Baaya’s footprint; while upholding Baaya’s brand values and setting benchmarks in client engagement and business development excellence.


Responsibility

  • Lead Business Development in our chosen vertical, by generating inquiries, engaging key stakeholders, and building a robust pipeline of high-value projects.
  • Develop and manage long-term Key Accounts, driving repeat business through trust, consistent engagement, and solution-oriented support.
  • Drive month to month revenues and financial targets as given.
  • Build expertise in the chosen segment, including brand landscapes, project pipelines, and market dynamics. Leverage research insights to develop targeted strategies, compelling pitch narratives, and effective sales collateral.
  • Expand Baaya's footprint by driving conversions across high-end residential and commercial projects, while actively promoting Baaya’s Signature offerings.
  • Collaborate with the Design team to ensure alignment of pitches, presentations, and client solutions with Baaya's creative direction and evolving standards.
  • Demonstrate leadership and set benchmarks for discipline, communication, and client relationship management.
  • Uphold Baaya's brand values and ensure professionalism in all internal and external interactions, with strict adherence to established SOPs.
  • Utilize CRM, project management, and data tools to maintain accurate sales pipelines, manage key accounts, and support insight-driven decision-making.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing/or a related field; or an MBA 
  • 4–6 years of experience in business development, preferably in the Hospitality/ Interiors/ Design segments, or related industries.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven negotiation and deal-closing capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions.
  • Proactive problem-solver who performs effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and other business development productivity tools.
