Job Summary:

The Senior Manager – Compensation & Benefits will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation structures and benefit programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This role ensures that compensation practices are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and are compliant with applicable laws and market competitiveness.


Key Responsibilities:


Compensation Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement compensation structures aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Lead annual compensation review cycles (salary revisions, promotions, and bonus planning).
  • Conduct job evaluations and benchmarking exercises to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Partner with leadership to design incentive and variable pay programs.

Benefits Management:

  • Design and administer employee benefits programs including insurance, wellness, retirement, and other perks.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of current programs and recommend enhancements.
  • Ensure legal compliance and manage vendor relationships for benefit providers.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Provide analytics and insights on compensation trends, pay equity, and workforce costs.
  • Prepare and present reports for leadership on compensation metrics and forecasts.
  • Monitor compensation and benefit costs and ensure budget adherence.

Policy & Compliance:

  • Develop and maintain compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations including tax and labor laws.
  • Oversee audits and implement corrective actions as required.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Finance, and Legal teams to drive initiatives.
  • Support business leaders with compensation advice for hiring, retention, and internal mobility.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably in a mid to large-sized organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation structures, incentive planning, and employee benefits.
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and reporting skills (Excel, HRIS tools, and analytics platforms).
  • Understanding of legal and compliance frameworks related to compensation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
