Job Title: Senior HR Generalist

Location: Gurugram

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: 5+ years in Human Resources

Reports To: Head of HR / Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team and play a key role in driving all HR functions across the organization. The ideal candidate should bring a strong understanding of end-to-end HR operations, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Grievance Handling

● Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers

● Address and resolve employee concerns and grievances in a timely and sensitive manner.

● Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Performance management

● Drive performance appraisal cycles.

● Collaborate with department heads to implement performance improvement plans.

● Ensure consistency and fairness in evaluations and feedback.

Payroll Compliance

● Oversee monthly payroll processing and coordinate with finance.

● Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).

● Maintain up-to-date employee records and audit logs.

Policy Implementation and Procedures

● Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.

● Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exits.

● Manage HR documentation and ensure accuracy in HRIS systems.

Talent Engagement and Development

● Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs.

● Drive employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities.

● Support leadership in succession planning and talent management.

Proactive Initiatives

● Analyze HR metrics to improve workforce effectiveness.

● Recommend improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and organizational performance.

● Stay updated on HR trends and employment law changes.

● Keep a track of hiring needs and oversee the recruitment progress.

● Weekly meetings with leadership to discuss the needs and challenges and accordingly work to resolve them

Key Requirements:

● Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

● 60% + across 10th, 12th, bachelors and MBA

● 5+ years of proven experience in HR generalist or similar roles.

● In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance.

● Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

● Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

● High level of integrity, empathy, and professionalism.
