• Conduct a discreet internal audit of current financial systems, accounts, and records.
• Supervise the existing accountant and establish a clear reporting structure.
• Standardise financial processes, approvals, and internal control mechanisms.
• Manage end-to-end finance: accounting, payroll, vendor management, billing, and collections.
• Prepare MIS reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and statutory audit requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, and banking partners.
• Evaluate and recommend accounting/ERP software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, ERPNext, etc.).
• Implement the chosen software for better transparency, scalability, and efficiency.
• Identify and eliminate risks, irregularities, or unethical practices.
• Drive a culture of financial accountability and discipline across the organisation.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (CA/ICWA strongly preferred).

• 12–18 years of experience

  in finance and accounting, with exposure to SMEs/unorganised sectors.
• Proven record of leading finance functions, audits, and internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, GST, and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with multiple financial software platforms.
• High integrity, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive financial matters.
• Leadership ability to head finance independently and mentor junior accountants.
