Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead regional sales, partner networks, and client engagement based out of Kolkata. This is a leadership role, overseeing a team of Business Enablers and responsible for strategizing and executing business growth across sectors including logistics, fleet management, infrastructure, and public sector projects.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong commercial acumen, a proven track record in B2B solution sales, and the ability to build lasting relationships at both the operational and CXO levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the regional business development strategy and execution for the East Zone
  • Supervise, mentor, and guide the Business Enabler team across cities
  • Lead enterprise sales and solution-based pitching for GPS, E-Locks, and IoT tracking systems
  • Identify and drive large account acquisition, government and PSU partnerships
  • Prepare and respond to RFPs, EOIs, and tender documents, collaborating with the tech/pre-sales team
  • Establish channel partners, reseller relationships, and strategic alliances
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics
  • Ensure pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and regular reporting to leadership

Candidate Profile

1) 5–7 years of business development or strategic sales experience
2) Prior exposure to transportation tech, GPS, fleet automation, or logistics SaaS is highly preferred

3) Experience in leading small business teams or regional sales operations
4) Excellent in solution selling, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration5) Comfortable working with both private sector and government clients6) Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
