Role Summary

The B2B Sales Manager is responsible for establishing and growing business relationships with corporate clients, gyms, and other organizations. This role involves identifying potential clients, presenting product offerings, providing quotations, closing deals, and managing post-sale relationships. As the first member of the sales team, this individual will also develop and execute sales strategies, manage offers and discounts, and ensure seamless communication with the operations team for order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition

  • Prospect Identification: Identify and qualify potential clients through research, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through various channels, including online research, industry events, and referrals.
  • Client Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects through phone calls, emails, and meetings to present product offerings.

2. Sales Presentations

  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct in-depth product demonstrations, showcasing the benefits and features of the company's smart bottles.
  • Tailored Presentations: Customize sales presentations to address the specific needs and pain points of each potential client.

3. Quotation Management

  • Quotation Preparation: Prepare and provide accurate and competitive quotations to potential clients based on their requirements and company pricing strategies.
  • Follow-Up: Regularly follow up with clients after sending quotations to answer any questions and move them towards closing the deal.

4. Negotiation & Closing

  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to close deals that meet both client needs and company objectives.
  • Sales Order (SO) Creation: Convert accepted proposals into Sales Orders (SOs), ensuring all details are accurately captured.
  • Order Communication: Share the Sales Order with the operations team, ensuring they have all necessary information to fulfill the order.

5. Sales Strategy Development

  • Strategy Formulation: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and refine sales tactics based on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Goal Setting: Set and track sales goals and performance metrics to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

6. Offers and Discount Strategy

  • Promotional Offers: Design and implement promotional offers and discount programs to attract new clients and incentivize bulk purchases.
  • Discount Negotiation: Assess and negotiate discounts for large orders or long-term contracts, ensuring alignment with company pricing policies.
  • Campaign Management: Coordinate with the marketing team to launch and manage sales campaigns that leverage special offers and discounts.

7. Account Management

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for any inquiries or issues.
  • After-Sales Support: Ensure client satisfaction by coordinating with the operations team for timely delivery and addressing any post-sale concerns.
  • Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional products or services to existing clients.

8. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Competitor Benchmarking: Analyze competitor products and pricing to position the company’s offerings competitively.
  • Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams based on client interactions and market insights.

9. Reporting & Documentation

  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports detailing pipeline status, closed deals, and forecasted revenue.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities, and order statuses in the company’s CRM system (e.g., Zoho CRM).
  • Documentation: Ensure all contracts, agreements, quotations, and client communications are properly documented and filed.

10. Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment and support for sales activities.
  • Team Building: Assist in building the sales team as the company grows, including recruiting, training, and mentoring new sales personnel.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience

  • B2B Sales Experience: 4+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the tech, consumer goods, or related industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Education

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Skills

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals that benefit both the client and the company.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Zoho CRM) for managing sales activities and client relationships.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve client problems effectively.
