Job Summary

Drive business growth across enterprise networking, data centres, structured cabling, surveillance, security and smart city/ICT projects. Own opportunity identification, full bid/tender lifecycle, techno-commercial proposals, and cross-functional coordination to secure and deliver high-value projects.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Identify and close opportunities across IT Infrastructure, Data Centre, Security & Surveillance, Smart City and ICT domains.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, system integrators, and OEMs.
  • Lead client meetings, solution presentations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  1. Bid & Tender Management

  • Analyze tender documents, SOW and eligibility criteria.
  • Coordinate with technical, procurement and finance teams to prepare compliant, competitive bids.
  • Prepare EOIs, RFP/RFQ responses, PQ documents, and detailed techno-commercial proposals.
  • Ensure timely submission and follow up on tender outcomes.
  1. Proposal & Costing Management

  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, structured cabling, CCTV, access control, data centre components).
  • Liaise with OEMs/channel partners for product selection, validation and pricing.
  • Optimize costing to maintain margin and competitiveness.
  1. Market Research & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
  • Build strategic alliances with OEMs and distributors.
  • Support go-to-market plans for new offerings and vertical expansion.
  1. Internal Coordination & Documentation

  • Work with Projects, Purchase, Finance and Legal for bid alignment and project execution.
  • Maintain bid documentation, client communication logs and approvals.
  • Track ongoing tenders in a bid tracker for management review.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical knowledge of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, structured cabling, routers/switches, CCTV, access control and data centre solutions.
  • Proven experience in tendering, RFP response and bid management for Government/PSU/large enterprise projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to draft BOQs, compliance statements and pricing sheets.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with e-tendering portals (GeM, CPPP, NIC, etc.).
  • Highly organized, analytical and coordination focused.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (IT, Electronics, or related).
  • MBA in Marketing/Business Development preferred.
  • 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience with Government/PSU/large enterprise tenders is a strong advantage.
