The role includes ensuring reliable communication links for projects such as transportation networks, defense, marine, aviation, or public safety operations. Key Responsibilities: Design, install, and commission VHF radio communication systems, including base stations, repeaters, antennas, and handheld/mobile units. Conduct site surveys and frequency planning as per project requirements. Perform testing, tuning, and calibration of VHF transmitters and receivers. Ensure proper grounding, cabling, and interference mitigation. Monitor system performance and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance. Prepare documentation including test reports, system drawings, and maintenance logs. Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, and field teams for installation and troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with regulatory frequency and spectrum standards. Provide technical support and training to field staff or end-users. Maintain inventory of communication equipment and spare parts.
