Senior Business Development Executive


Role Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated, result-driven, and strategic Senior Business Development Executive


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Procure new clients

    and drive revenue growth across multiple sectors.
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities across government and private sectors in industries such as

    power transmission & distribution, oil & gas, solar energy, disaster management, mining, irrigation & water resources, urban planning, infrastructure, forestry, environment, agriculture, and defense

    .
  • Generate qualified leads via networking, partnerships, cold outreach, digital marketing, and industry events.
  • Develop sector-specific go-to-market strategies for different verticals.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and channel partners.
  • Understand client pain points and translate drone/tech solutions into clear ROI-based value propositions.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, tenders, and pitches to high-level decision-makers.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, market demands, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments in UAV and related tech.
  • Collaborate with technical, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Represent Skyglimps Technologies at

    conferences, trade shows, government forums, and client meetings

    .


Requirements:

  • Experience:

    3–5 years of proven experience in

    business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships

    , preferably in

    Drone-as-a-Service, geospatial, or related technology-driven sectors

    .
  • Domain Knowledge:

    Familiarity with drones, geospatial solutions, inspections, or data analytics. Experience in one or more of the mentioned sectors is highly desirable.


Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and client engagement skills.

  • Ability to bridge technical solutions with business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi/Bengali is an advantage.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Location & Mobility:

    Based in Kolkata, with willingness to travel for client engagements, site visits, and events.
