We are looking for an experienced
Senior Data Engineer
of hands-on experience in designing, building, and managing complex data architectures and BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SQL, Snowflake, Looker, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), paired with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. This role will involve driving end-to-end data strategy, optimizing data workflows, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep dive into existing data sources, business requirements for Sales, Marketing, CS teams and current infrastructure
- Architect Blueprint for Data Warehouse & BI Layer/BI Data sources.
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable sales funnel, rep performance, and Net Revenue Retention (NRR) dashboards, ensuring robust, reliable, and performant data models.
- Responsible for Data integration across Bus, Data modelling & warehouse design
- Work with BI Visualizations team for reporting & dashboards in Looker
- Define and translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and scalable data solutions.
- Develop and optimize BigQuery / SQL queries and data pipelines for Snowflake data warehouse integration, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead data validation, reconciliation, and governance processes to maintain data integrity across multiple sources.
- Manage weekly reporting cadence and develop operational dashboards for business performance tracking.
- Conduct in-depth, ad-hoc analysis to identify trends, hotspots, and drivers impacting revenue and sales performance.
- Document data architecture, SQL queries, dashboard logic, and reporting processes to ensure transparency and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers and cross-functional teams to optimize ETL processes and data warehouse design.
- Mentor junior analysts and BI developers, fostering best practices in data architecture and analysis.
- Influence and partner with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering roles.
- Expertise in SQL and advanced query optimization techniques.
- Extensive experience with Snowflake data warehouse and its architecture.
- Strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in designing scalable, maintainable data models and ETL pipelines.
- Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and driving team best practices.
- Good to have proficiency in Looker for dashboard creation and data visualization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in GCP or any cloud vendors.
- Background in sales analytics, revenue operations, or related domains.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Experience with other BI tools or data platforms is a plus.
- Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in data practices.
