Job Title: SAP Administrator Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled SAP S4 HANA Administrator to join our team during the implementation phase of SAP. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of SAP BASIS modules and demonstrate the ability to effectively implement and support the system post-implementation. This role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of SAP within our organization and providing ongoing support to end-users. Responsibilities: Implementation Assistance: Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful implementation of SAP modules. Provide expertise in configuring SAP modules based on business requirements. Assist in data migration and system integration activities. Conduct training sessions for end-users to familiarise them with SAP functionalities. System Administration (BASIS): Monitor SAP system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Perform regular system maintenance tasks such as applying patches and upgrades. Manage user access and security settings within SAP. Coordinate with external vendors for technical support and system enhancements. Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA BASIS administration including system installations, configurations, tuning, patching, and upgrades. Support and Documentation: Act as the primary point of contact for end-user support related to SAP. Address user queries and resolve issues in a timely manner. Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP configurations, processes, and procedures. Develop and implement best practices for SAP usage and administration. Continuous Improvement and Leadership: Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes and improvements. Stay updated on new SAP releases and features and assess their relevance to the organization. SAP Analytics and Database Management, Customized Reporting and Dashboards: Develop custom dashboards and reports using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Fiori, or BusinessObjects. Design and manage SAP HANA data models (CDS Views, Calculation Views) to support analytics. Ensure database performance and integrity through monitoring, tuning, and backup strategies. Integrate data from multiple sources to deliver unified and accurate business insights. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver role-specific reporting solutions. Support data governance and security by implementing access controls and ensuring data quality. Train users and provide support on reporting tools and dashboard functionalities. Security & Compliance Implement and monitor SAP security policies, including user and role management in coordination with SAP Security teams. Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards, managing system logs, change tracking, and backup/recovery practices. 7. Documentation & Leadership Maintain detailed documentation of system configuration, operations, and change management processes. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior BASIS consultants and serve as a technical point of escalation. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for production support as required. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience as an SAP Administrator or in a similar role with a minimum of 7+ years. Knowledge of SAP modules such as Finance (FI/CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and others. Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and configuration. Proficiency in SAP Basis administration tasks including system monitoring, performance tuning, and user management. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
