Job Description

The Field Sales Trainer for responsible for equipping the sales team with the skills, knowledge, and strategies necessary to effectively sell broadband services. This role involves hands-on training in the field, developing training materials, and providing coaching to ensure that the sales team meets or exceeds their performance targets.


This role is critical in empowering the sales force to effectively market broadband services, ensuring that the team achieves its objectives and provides top-quality service to customers.This is purely a Field Sales Trainer role.Outstation visits are involved.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Training and Development:
  • Conduct field-based sales training sessions for new and existing sales team members.
  • Develop and update training materials, presentations, and sales guides to ensure alignment with the latest broadband products, promotions, and technologies.
  • Provide coaching on best practices for customer engagement, objection handling, and closing sales.
  • Deliver product knowledge training on broadband services, including speed tiers, equipment, and service packages.
  • Performance Coaching:
  • Monitor and evaluate individual and team sales performance.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to sales team members to improve their selling techniques and knowledge of broadband services.
  • Help sales reps overcome barriers in their selling process by offering real-time solutions and guidance.
  • Field Support:
  • Accompany sales representatives in the field to observe sales techniques and provide immediate feedback.
  • Conduct role-playing and hands-on demonstrations to improve practical sales skills.
  • Help sales team members craft personalized sales approaches for different market segments.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Track the progress and performance of sales staff through KPIs such as conversion rates, sales quotas, and customer retention.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to sales leadership and offer insights into areas for improvement.
  • Use data to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for enhancements.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to stay informed about new products, market trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales managers to align training efforts with company sales goals.
  • Ensure continuous alignment between sales efforts and the company's overall broadband strategy.
  • Customer-Centric Approach:
  • Train the sales team on understanding customer needs, presenting solutions effectively, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Educate sales teams on how to clearly communicate the benefits of broadband products and services to potential customers.


Qualifications:


  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in telecommunications, broadband, or related industries.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales training or sales coaching.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of broadband technology and products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Analytical thinking with experience in tracking sales performance metrics.
