Sales Trainer – Digital Marketing Agency

Location:

ROLE PURPOSE

To design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs that enhance the skills, confidence, and performance of Haris&Co’s sales team. The role requires creating practical, industry-relevant training content, conducting coaching sessions, and ensuring all sales representatives are equipped with the latest strategies, tools, and communication techniques to close deals effectively in India and GCC markets.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Sales Training Program Development

  • Design and maintain structured onboarding programs for new sales hires.
  • Develop ongoing skill-enhancement modules covering consultative selling, objection handling, negotiation, CRM usage, and industry knowledge.
  • Align training content with Haris&Co’s brand voice, services, and market positioning.

2. Coaching & Performance Improvement

  • Conduct regular one-on-one and group coaching sessions.
  • Observe sales calls, presentations, and pitches to provide constructive feedback.
  • Implement personalised improvement plans for underperforming sales reps.

3. Product & Market Knowledge

  • Ensure sales teams are updated on all Haris&Co services, case studies, success stories, and differentiators.
  • Provide training on market trends, competitor insights, and emerging digital marketing tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to keep training materials relevant and accurate.

4. Sales Process & CRM Mastery

  • Train sales teams on CRM best practices, data hygiene, and funnel management.
  • Reinforce adherence to Haris&Co’s sales process from lead qualification to deal closure.
  • Track and report improvements in process compliance and efficiency.

5. Training Measurement & ROI

  • Create pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge retention and skill improvement.
  • Track performance metrics (conversion rates, deal size, sales cycle length) to evaluate training impact.
  • Present monthly training effectiveness reports to leadership.

6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with Head of Sales to identify training needs based on performance gaps.
  • Work closely with Marketing for alignment on messaging and campaign integration.
  • Support recruitment by participating in interview panels to assess sales competency.


REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3–5 years of sales or sales training experience, preferably in digital marketing, advertising, or service-based industries.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering impactful sales training programs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
  • Knowledge of B2B consultative selling techniques and digital marketing industry trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, or similar) and data analysis.


SUCCESS METRICS (KPIs)

  • Improvement in individual and team sales conversion rates.
  • Reduction in onboarding time for new sales hires.
  • Increased adherence to CRM processes and pipeline accuracy.
  • Sales team competency score improvements in quarterly assessments.
  • Positive post-training feedback scores from participants.
