Lutron’s Gurgaon team is seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Sales Enablement

Leader

to help drive the continued growth of our business in India. In this role, you will own the development and execution of high impact channel marketing and sales enablement strategies focused on lighting, lighting control and automated window treatment solutions. This includes ensuring alignment with our global strategy while tailoring initiatives to local markets. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Regional Sales Enablement Plan Development:
    • Understand sales plans, launch plans, event plans, and sales programs.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales enablement plan that aligns with these strategies.
    • Ensure the sales enablement plan supports overall business objectives and drives growth in the region.
  • Alignment with Business Unit Marketing Teams and In-Territory Execution:
    • Sync and align regional marketing & sales enablement initiatives with Business Unit Marketing teams to ensure consistency and coherence.
    • Collaborate with Business Unit Marketing teams to leverage global campaigns and adapt them for regional relevance.
    • Share and apply external best practices to help improve processes and develop individual and team skills and knowledge.
    • Become knowledgeable in Lutron’s broader product portfolio and go-to-market approach to maximize your understanding and impact.
    • Measure, track, and optimize campaign performance by establishing KPIs, conducting analysis, and reporting on progress towards achieving peak performance and a high return on marketing investment.
  • Internal Lutron Communication
    • Work collaboratively across various functions including Creative Services (internal and external agencies), Product Management, MarTech, Sales, Data & Analytics, Finance and more.
    • Regularly cross-share with corporate team to understand where goals overlap and where learnings and work can be shared, collaborating on projects as appropriate
    • Prepare and present updates during regional sales meetings, working closely with sales leadership.
    • Event Planning and Execution:
      • Manage and work with an Event planning company to Plan, coordinate, and execute regional events, including trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
      • Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, and on-site execution to ensure seamless experiences.
      • Develop strategies to generate leads through events and manage the lead capture process.
      • Develop post-event reports to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Social Media Plan:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
    • Work with the Communications team in PA / NYC to create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across social media platforms.
  • Budget and Expense Management:
    • Oversee the overall regional sales enablement budget and manage expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
    • Track and report on budget utilization and financial performance of sales enablement activities.
  • Agency Management:
    • Collaborate with external agencies to develop and execute marketing, PR & sales enablement campaigns.
    • Ensure all agency work aligns with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
    • Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables for agency projects.
  • Localization of Materials:
    • Adapt global sales enablement materials to fit regional markets, ensuring cultural relevance and compliance with local regulations.
    • Work with translation services and local teams to produce high-quality localized content.
  • Email Campaigns:
    • Design and execute email campaigns to nurture leads and engage customers.
    • Segment email lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions.
    • Analyze campaign performance and optimize for better results.
  • New Product/Solution Launch Activities:
    • Plan and execute regional launch activities for new products and solutions.
    • Coordinate with product management, sales, and other teams to ensure successful launches.
    • Develop launch materials, including presentations, brochures, and online content and/or leverage content produced by North American marketing & comms teams to adapt and implement in territories.
  • Sales Demo Management:
    • Ensure the sales teams are equipped with appropriate and compelling sales demos.
    • Budget for the maintenance of sales demos to ensure they meet the needs of different businesses.
    • Gather feedback from sales teams to continuously improve demo effectiveness.
  • Web Updates:
    • Provide inputs on regional website content updates and work with the global web team to ensure information is current and relevant.
    • Work with the global web team to implement new features and improvements.
    • Monitor website analytics to identify opportunities for optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; with an aggregate of 60% or above
  • MBA preferred.
  • 10-12 years of B2B marketing experience in mid-to-large (preferably international) organizations.
  • Proven success in cross-functional collaboration across product, sales, web, CRM, and service teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing (paid, earned, owned media), sales enablement, and channel marketing.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in campaign analytics and performance tracking.
  • Experience managing external agencies and internal creative teams.
  • Background in technology or software industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms.
