Role Description

You will be responsible for winning new clients and growing revenue the way top marketing, creative, and consulting agencies do: sharp prospecting, confident discovery, tight proposals, and relationship‑led closing. If you’ve built and grown an agency‑style pipeline before, you’ll feel at home here.

This role is also closely linked to our content engine. You’ll work with design and product to turn market insight into a high‑impact content calendar that supports pipeline and brand.


Key Responsibilities

Pipeline & Demand Generation

  • Own the full outbound and inbound funnel: lead sourcing → outreach → discovery → proposal → close → handoff.
  • Build repeatable systems for growth: ICP lists, outreach sequences, follow‑ups, strong CRM hygiene, and clear deal tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to package services into clear “products” (e.g., advisory sprints, strategy systems, retainers) that are easy to sell and buy.

Run Deals End‑to‑End

  • Lead high‑quality discovery calls: diagnose the real problem, qualify quickly, and shape clear scopes.
  • Translate ambiguous client needs into structured scopes across marketing strategy, growth, brand/positioning, org design, design/creative systems, and analytics/measurement.
  • Craft crisp proposals/SOWs outlining outcomes, timelines, responsibilities, deliverables, and pricing.
  • Ensure clean handoffs and strong expectation‑setting so projects start smoothly and clients feel confident.
  • Continuously spot and convert expansion opportunities (phase‑two projects, retainers, additional workstreams).

Scale Referrals & Strategic Alliances

  • Build and nurture relationships with agency leaders, founders, operators, VCs, accelerators, and creators to drive warm introductions.
  • Design and run partner motions where relevant (co‑selling, referral structures, and collaboration plays) to expand reach and deal flow.


Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in agency sales, business development, or partnerships, ideally in marketing, creative, strategy, or consulting environments.
  • Proven ability to prospect and close new business, not just manage existing accounts.
  • Strong discovery skills—you ask sharp questions, get to the real problem fast, and can confidently qualify, redirect, or walk away when needed.
  • Experience selling services such as marketing strategy, branding, performance marketing, design/creative, consulting, analytics, or org design (any relevant subset works).
  • Comfort drafting clear proposals, scopes of work, and pricing structures that reflect value and manage expectations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with disciplined follow‑up habits and long‑term client focus.
