Content Strategist (Editorial + Storytelling) Location: Delhi NCR (Hybrid, WFH flexibility) · Type: Full-time · Note: Individual applicants only (no agencies) Company Description The Strategy Room by Harneet Bhalla helps founders decode strategy and turn it into momentum. We take complex ideas and translate them into clear, actionable narratives aka playbooks founders can actually use. Our mission is to equip builders with the clarity, language, and tools to compete (and win) in noisy markets. Role Description We’re hiring a Content Strategist who combines editorial rigor (think HBR level structure) with modern storytelling. You’ll own Harneet Bhalla’s personal LinkedIn presence, lead our website’s content engine, and turn complex marketing/strategy topics into simple, memorable frameworks that travel. You will: Own Harneet Bhalla’s LinkedIn end-to-end: editorial calendar, ghostwriting, hooks, carousels/threads, repurposing, and analytics. Lead website content: narrative for key pages (Home, About, Services), long-form essays, case studies, resource hub taxonomy, and on-page SEO fundamentals. Simplify complexity: convert dense strategy and marketing topics into clear ideas, visuals, and step-by-step playbooks. Set the editorial bar: outline → thesis → argument → evidence → takeaway; fact-check, cite, and maintain voice consistency. Build a content system: style guide, topic map, pillar/cluster plan, briefs for design, and a repeatable production workflow. Measure what matters: track reach, saves, session depth, subscribers/leads; iterate based on insight, not vibes. Collaborate with design and research to craft crisp visuals (diagrams, frameworks) that lift comprehension and recall. Core Outputs: A consistent 3–5 posts/week cadence on Harneet’s LinkedIn with rising saves/shares and high signal comments. Revamped website narrative + 4 cornerstone essays and case studies/resources monthly. A documented editorial operating system (style guide, calendar, briefs, repurposing map) running smoothly. Qualifications (Must-Have) Proven editorial writing background with strong argumentation, original insight, clean prose. Storytelling craft: headline writing, narrative arcs, voice adaptation, and clarity under constraints. Track record at content-driven companies (product-led, media-savvy, consulting/VC, or operators who grow via content). Content strategy & management: topic architecture, pillar/cluster planning, briefs, QA, and publishing workflows. Web & LinkedIn writing excellence; ability to translate long-form into short-form and back without losing depth. Research discipline: interviews with SMEs, synthesis, citations, and tasteful data use (charts, stats, quotes). Analytical mindset: Comfort with Analytics and tying content to outcomes.
Company Description At The Strategy Room by Harneet Bhalla, we are committed to empowering founders by transforming their ideas into actionable strategies that drive brand success. Our focus is on simplifying complex business concepts into clear insights that are both practical and impactful. We take pride in helping businesses build enduring strategies that influence markets and define the future of their industries. Role Description You will be responsible for winning new clients and growing revenue the way top marketing, creative, and consulting agencies do: sharp prospecting, confident discovery, tight proposals, and relationship‑led closing. If you’ve built and grown an agency‑style pipeline before, you’ll feel at home here. This role is also closely linked to our content engine. You’ll work with design and product to turn market insight into a high‑impact content calendar that supports pipeline and brand. Key Responsibilities Pipeline & Demand Generation Own the full outbound and inbound funnel: lead sourcing → outreach → discovery → proposal → close → handoff. Build repeatable systems for growth: ICP lists, outreach sequences, follow‑ups, strong CRM hygiene, and clear deal tracking. Collaborate with internal teams to package services into clear “products” (e.g., advisory sprints, strategy systems, retainers) that are easy to sell and buy. Run Deals End‑to‑End Lead high‑quality discovery calls: diagnose the real problem, qualify quickly, and shape clear scopes. Translate ambiguous client needs into structured scopes across marketing strategy, growth, brand/positioning, org design, design/creative systems, and analytics/measurement. Craft crisp proposals/SOWs outlining outcomes, timelines, responsibilities, deliverables, and pricing. Ensure clean handoffs and strong expectation‑setting so projects start smoothly and clients feel confident. Continuously spot and convert expansion opportunities (phase‑two projects, retainers, additional workstreams). Scale Referrals & Strategic Alliances Build and nurture relationships with agency leaders, founders, operators, VCs, accelerators, and creators to drive warm introductions. Design and run partner motions where relevant (co‑selling, referral structures, and collaboration plays) to expand reach and deal flow. Requirements 3–5 years of experience in agency sales, business development, or partnerships, ideally in marketing, creative, strategy, or consulting environments. Proven ability to prospect and close new business , not just manage existing accounts. Strong discovery skills —you ask sharp questions, get to the real problem fast, and can confidently qualify, redirect, or walk away when needed. Experience selling services such as marketing strategy, branding, performance marketing, design/creative, consulting, analytics, or org design (any relevant subset works). Comfort drafting clear proposals, scopes of work, and pricing structures that reflect value and manage expectations. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with disciplined follow‑up habits and long‑term client focus.
