This role is not desk-bound; it requires an aggressive approach to client acquisition, frequent on-site meetings, and deep technical engagement with project stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution and Business Development

  • Client Acquisition:

    Directly responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing high-value contracts by selling our parking systems to

    real estate developers, builders, contractors, and project management consultants (PMCs)

    .
  • Field Work Focus:

    Conduct

    extensive field work

    involving multiple daily client meetings, site visits, and project requirement assessments across Mumbai and surrounding regions.
  • Database Management:

    Utilize the existing company database and leverage personal industry networks to effectively

    approach and gain access to key decision-makers and buyers

    (e.g., procurement heads, project managers, technical directors).
  • Technical Presentation:

    Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of builders, explaining the engineering and commercial benefits of our solutions.
  • Proposal Management:

    Prepare and submit accurate and comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with client specifications and project timelines.

Relationship Management and Market Expertise

  • Key Account Management:

    Build and maintain strong, trust-based, long-term relationships with project heads, procurement teams, and owners of major construction groups.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new project announcements to ensure a competitive advantage and strategic targeting.
  • Coordination:

    Work closely with the internal Design, Engineering, and Estimation teams to customize solutions and ensure technical clarity throughout the pre-sales process.

Performance and Negotiation

  • Achieve aggressive monthly and quarterly sales targets (volumes and value).
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring profitable deals while adhering to company commercial policies.
  • Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline and provide accurate, timely reports and sales forecasts to management.


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field) is highly preferred.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of

    5-8 years of dedicated sales experience

    , with a successful track record of

    selling technical or capital products directly to builders, developers, or contractors.

  • Industry Expertise (Mandatory):

    Proven experience and knowledge of the procurement process within the construction/real estate sector, specifically from companies in similar industries such as:
  • Automated Parking Systems

  • Lifts / Elevators / Escalators

  • Façade/Cladding Systems

    (e.g., ACP, Glass Cladding)
  • Heavy Fabrication or High-Value Construction Material Sales

  • Technical Proficiency:

    Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings, project specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
  • Networking & Access:

    Must possess an existing, verifiable network and practical knowledge of

    how to approach and access key buyers/decision-makers

    in the Mumbai and regional construction market.
  • Soft Skills:

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly self-motivated, persistent, and comfortable spending the majority of time in the field.
