Retail Branch Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Sales Management: The branch manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets across all product categories offered by the branch. This includes liability products such as current accounts, savings accounts, fixed deposits, and recurring deposits, as well as asset products from IndusInd Bank and BFIL. Additionally, they will oversee the promotion and sale of third-party provider/cross-sell products.

• Customer Service and Operations: Overseeing all customer service activities, the branch manager will ensure the prompt and efficient handling of cash and non-cash transactions, inquiries, and service requests. They will also be responsible for addressing customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

• Risk Management and Compliance: The branch manager will be tasked with ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards related to banking operations, sales practices, and product offerings. They will implement effective risk management practices to mitigate operational, credit, and compliance risks, conducting regular audits and reviews to identify potential areas of risk and taking appropriate actions to address them.

• Business Development and Relationship Management: Identifying opportunities for business growth and expansion within the branch's target market segments will be a key responsibility. The branch manager to maintain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate business development and enhance the branch's reputation and market presence.

• Reporting and Performance Monitoring: The branch manager will prepare regular reports on branch performance, covering sales metrics, customer service indicators, and operational efficiency measures. They will analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, developing action plans accordingly. Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and collaborating with them to drive strategic initiatives will also be part of their role.
