Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Relationship Manager to drive institutional sales within the B2B segment. The role involves onboarding and nurturing corporate relationships, maximizing transaction throughput, ensuring profitability, and expanding market presence through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
1.Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Identify, onboard, and activate corporate clients on the companys platform.
Build and maintain long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Engage with CXO-level stakeholders and promoters to drive strategic discussions.
Ensure end-to-end account ownership including onboarding, transaction activation, and relationship profitability.
2.Portfolio & Revenue Management
Maximize throughput (bill factoring, supply chain financing, etc.) across the corporate portfolio.
Own the P&L of assigned accounts and ensure optimal pricing, yields, and margins.
Track key business metrics including throughput, outstanding, yield, and revenues.
Plan, forecast, and report business performance (daily, weekly, monthly).
3.Business Growth & Market Expansion
Drive growth in assigned geography by tapping underpenetrated markets and new corporate segments.
Grow the partner/distribution network to increase reach and deal volume.
Source SME clients for supply chain financing (Anchor Model / Direct Lending).
Organize and lead local loan events, corporate outreach, and lead-generation initiatives.
4.Sales Execution & Coordination
Conduct client meetings, validate business documents, and coordinate loan processing with internal teams.
Collaborate with sanctioning and disbursement teams to ensure seamless deal execution.
Support timely and accurate commission reconciliation, incentive disbursal, and partner settlements.
Ensure compliance with internal processes and industry regulations.
Functional Competencies
Proven ability to build and manage CXO-level and promoter relationships.
Strong business development and negotiation skills in institutional or SME lending.
Deep understanding of NBFC / Fintech lending models, supply chain finance, and factoring.
Proficient in business planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
Demonstrated teamwork and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Market intelligence and territory development expertise.
Candidate Profile
Experience: 6-10 years in Institutional Sales / B2B Sales / Corporate Relationship Management.
Preferred Background: Banking, Financial Services, NBFC, or Fintech.
Candidates from FMCG/Manufacturing with strong sales drive may also apply.
Skills: Core Sales, Market Expansion, Business Development, Relationship Management.
Qualification: Graduate (Finance / Commerce preferred), MBA desirable.
Location Preference: Candidates already based in or familiar with Mumbai, Pune, or Delhi markets.
