Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused, and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of our multi-cuisine restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for team leadership, guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, staff training, and driving overall business performance while maintaining high service and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Operations Management:

• Oversee and coordinate all front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations
• Ensure smooth functioning of the restaurant during all service hours
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service timing
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards (FSSAI / HACCP)

2. Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff (kitchen, service, cleaning, etc.)
• Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage at all times
• Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews
• Maintain grooming, discipline, and SOP compliance of all team members

3. Guest Experience:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Address guest complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly
• Build customer loyalty through personalized service and regular feedback collection

4. Financial & Inventory Oversight:

• Monitor daily sales, food cost, and labor cost
• Reduce wastage and improve operational efficiency
• Oversee inventory, procurement, and stock control in coordination with vendors
• Manage POS and billing systems and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports

5. Business Growth:

• Achieve monthly revenue and profitability targets
• Implement local marketing plans and upselling strategies
• Organize events, promotions, and festive campaigns with support from the head office
• Track competitor activity and market trends to improve offerings

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of experience in restaurant operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of multi-cuisine operations, guest service, and restaurant SOPs
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Hands-on knowledge of POS, billing, and restaurant software
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure during rush hours
• Fluent in Hindi; working knowledge of English preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Hotel or Restaurant Management (preferred)
• Experience in managing QSR, café, casual dining, or fine-dining restaurants
• Familiarity with FSSAI and other regulatory requirements

Work Schedule:

• Rotational shifts with flexible hours
• Must be available on weekends, holidays, and special events
