Job Description

You will be joining Daily Bowl, a pioneering vegan casual dine-in and subscription-based restaurant in Surat. The company is committed to providing wholesome, delicious, and convenient plant-based meals through its serene dine-in space and innovative daily subscription services. As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the restaurant. Your responsibilities will include operational management, financial management, service standards and training, inventory and waste management, housekeeping and maintenance, people management, guest experience, reporting and KPIs, and other miscellaneous tasks. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Operational Management:** - Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during peak and off-peak hours. - Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security protocols. - Implement efficient workflow processes for optimal service and guest satisfaction. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. - **Financial Management:** - Handle daily accounts opening and closing with accuracy. - Utilize Pet Pooja software for order taking, billing, and reporting. - Monitor and control costs related to food, beverage, labor, and operational expenses. - Track sales data to identify revenue opportunities and prepare financial reports. - **Service Standards & Training:** - Develop SOPs for service consistency and excellence. - Conduct training for service staff on protocols, menu knowledge, and guest interaction. - Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions. - Lead by example in service skills and team environment. - **Inventory & Waste Management:** - Oversee stock-keeping procedures to maintain inventory levels and minimize waste. - Implement strategies to reduce food, beverage, and supply waste. - Conduct inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies. - **Housekeeping & Maintenance:** - Audit housekeeping for cleanliness and presentation in both front and back of house. - **People Management:** - Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise service staff. - Foster a positive work environment and manage employee performance. - Communicate expectations and goals clearly to all team members. - **Guest Experience:** - Ensure exceptional service and address guest concerns promptly. - Cultivate a welcoming atmosphere and seek feedback for improvement. - **Reporting & KPIs:** - Work under KPIs related to sales targets, staff training, communication effectiveness, audits, and reporting. - Generate operational performance reports as required. **Basic Requirements:** - 5-7 years of supervisory or management experience in the restaurant industry. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. - Experience in creating SOPs and handling financial accounts. - Familiarity with Pet Pooja software. - Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively. **Preferred Skills:** - Formal education in hospitality management. - Experience with inventory management software. - Knowledge of local food and beverage regulations. - Basic understanding of marketing principles. You must be a quick learner, enthusiastic, and willing to work flexible hours.,
