Job Overview We are seeking a responsible and experienced restaurant manager to oversee the complete day-to-day operations of our tea stall/café/restaurant. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing staff, operations, cash flow, and customer experience in the absence of the owner. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong operational discipline, and prior experience in hotel or restaurant management. Key Responsibilities & Activities Operations Management Manage daily restaurant operations smoothly and efficiently Ensure timely opening and closing of the outlet Monitor food and beverage quality, taste consistency, and service speed Implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) Staff Management Supervise kitchen, service, and cleaning staff Assign daily duties and manage staff shifts Ensure staff discipline, punctuality, and uniform compliance Train staff on hygiene, customer handling, and service standards Cash & Billing Management Handle daily cash collection and POS billing Prepare daily sales reports and expense summaries Ensure accurate cash reconciliation at the end of each shift/day Inventory & Vendor Coordination Monitor raw material stock (tea, milk, sugar, food items, etc.) Place purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers/vendors Control wastage and maintain stock records Customer Experience Ensure high standards of customer service Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly Maintain a welcoming and friendly environment Hygiene & Compliance Ensure cleanliness of kitchen, service area, and dining space Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines) Conduct regular checks to maintain sanitation and safety Reporting & Owner Coordination Report daily operational updates to the owner/company management Share feedback, challenges, and improvement suggestions Manage the outlet independently during the owner’s absence Experience & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel or restaurant management Prior experience in tea stalls, cafés, or QSRs will be an added advantage Strong leadership and team-handling skills Basic knowledge of billing systems and inventory management Good communication and problem-solving abilities Salary & Growth Salary: ₹15,000 per month (Initial 6 months) Post 6 Months: Salary hike based on performance, responsibility handling, and operational efficiency Long-term growth opportunities with expanding outlets Working Hours Full-time Shift-based (as per outlet operations) Why Join Us Opportunity to grow with a heritage-driven brand Performance-based career growth Leadership role with real responsibility Stable work environment under a professionally managed company
