Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Research Analyst to support the company’s strategic and financial planning functions. The role involves developing financial models, conducting market sizing and forecasting, and performing in-depth sensitivity and risk analyses to guide business decisions for defense projects. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:

1. Financial Modelling & Planning

·      Develop, maintain, and enhance comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.

·      Build dynamic financial frameworks to evaluate investments, profitability, and cost structures.

2. Market Sizing & Opportunity Assessment

·      Conduct market sizing and opportunity analysis for new and existing business verticals.

·      Assess competitive positioning, industry benchmarks, and demand projections.

3. Industry Research

in-depth secondary research

·      Develop market sizing, growth forecasts, and sectoral intelligence reports.

·      Track and analyze key developments in defence, media, and adjacent technology ecosystems.

4. Sensitivity & Scenario Analysis

·      Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to evaluate financial and operational risks under varying assumptions.

·      Support management with actionable insights for decision-making under uncertain market conditions.

5. Risk Analysis & Business Evaluation

·      Conduct risk assessments for projects, business cases, and investment proposals.

·      Support investment appraisals, due diligence, and business case evaluations to ensure sound financial governance.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

·      Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with operational outcomes.

·      Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and process improvements.
