Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst who will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analysis of stocks, sectors, and broader market trends. The ideal candidate will develop insightful investment recommendations, prepare financial models, and create research reports for internal use and publication.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement basic algorithmic trading strategies and contribute to strategy testing

• Conduct webinars and video sessions to present research findings and market outlook

• Conduct thorough research on listed companies, sectors, and macro-market trends

• Analyze financial statements, economic indicators, and market data

• Develop detailed financial models and perform valuation analysis (DCF, relative valuation, etc.)

• Prepare and publish well-structured equity research reports with actionable insights

• Assist in media publications and contribute to investment newsletters

• Stay updated with sectoral developments, regulatory changes, and global trends

• Maintain the highest level of accuracy and compliance in all deliverables

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field

• Proven experience in equity research, stock market analysis, or investment banking

• Strong understanding of financial markets, valuation techniques, and investment principles

• Excellent analytical ability with strong communication and writing skills

• Detail-focused with strong problem-solving and time-management capabilities

• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a dynamic team

• Passion for equity markets and continuous learning in finance
