Job Description

The ideal candidate will prospect and close sales leads to help generate revenue for the Transport company. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales strategy. They will have strong management and coaching skills to support the learning and development of the sales team. Responsibilities Develop relationships with customers and regularly communicate with them to understand their Full Truck Load (FTL)- transportation needs. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company’s customer base. Negotiate rates and services with customers and carriers to ensure profitability for the company. Analyze market trends and customer data to make informed decisions on pricing and services. Manage the transportation process from start to finish, including scheduling, booking, and tracking shipments. Collaborate with internal teams, such as dispatch and operations, to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
