The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for managing and driving sales operations across the assigned region through the *franchise network*. The role focuses on regional revenue growth, franchise performance management, market expansion, brand establishment, and profitability. The RSM will report directly to the National Sales Manager (NSM).

### 1. Strategic Planning & Regional Expansion
* Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national business objectives.
* Identify potential markets and locations for *franchise expansion* within the region.
* Support onboarding and stabilization of new franchises to ensure early profitability.
* Prepare regional sales plans, budgets, and forecasts.
### 2. Franchise Management & Development
* Manage and strengthen relationships with existing franchise partners.
* Ensure franchisees adhere to company standards, SOPs, pricing, and brand guidelines.
* Drive consistent monthly performance from franchise units across the region.
* Resolve escalated franchise operational and commercial issues.
### 3. Team Leadership & Performance Management
* Lead and manage Area Sales Managers / Regional team members within the region.
* Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for the team.
* Conduct regular reviews, coaching, and training to improve productivity and efficiency.
* Ensure discipline, reporting accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
### 4. Sales Operations & Revenue Management
* Drive achievement of regional sales targets and growth metrics.
* Monitor sales forecasting, pipeline, and execution across franchise locations.
* Ensure timely collections and cash flow from franchise partners as per company norms.
* Oversee regional MIS, reporting, and performance dashboards.
### 5. Market Intelligence & Business Insights
* Track competitor activity, pricing strategies, and regional market trends.
* Share timely market feedback with product, marketing, and leadership teams.
* Recommend corrective actions and strategic initiatives based on regional insights.
### 6. Marketing & Brand Building
* Execute regional marketing initiatives in coordination with the central marketing team.
* Support franchise partners in implementing promotions, visibility, and local activations.
* Participate in exhibitions, trade events, and industry forums relevant to the region.
* Ensure consistent brand presence and positioning across all franchise outlets.
### 7. Cross-functional Coordination
* Coordinate with operations, supply chain, finance, and customer support teams to ensure smooth franchise functioning.
* Ensure effective after-sales and service support for franchise partners and end customers.
### 8. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
* Track regional KPIs including sales growth, franchise productivity, and collections.
* Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with franchise partners.
* Present regional performance reports and action plans to the NSM.

* Proven experience in *FMCG / QSR / Retail / Franchise-based business models*.
*8–12 years* of experience in regional sales, franchise management, or business development.
* Strong leadership, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent analytical, planning, and execution capabilities.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Experience working with MIS, sales forecasting, and performance dashboards.
* Self-driven, result-oriented, and capable of managing large regions independently.
