Regional Sales Manager FMCG (Rural Maharashtra | GT + MT)

Role Summary

Regional Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive primary & secondary sales in rural & semi-urban Maharashtra
  • Expand distributor, sub-stockist & van-sales network
  • Improve numeric distribution at taluka, village & feeder-market level
  • Ensure effective beat planning, route productivity & outlet coverage
  • Lead ASMs, Sales Officers & rural sales teams
  • Execute rural trade schemes, visibility & activation programs
  • Manage select regional modern trade accounts
  • Track competition, pricing, collections & sales MIS

Candidate Profile

  • 15-20 years FMCG sales experience with

    strong rural Maharashtra exposure

  • Hands-on experience in

    GT, sub-stockists, redistribution & van sales

  • Good understanding of rural trade margins & distributor economics
  • Ability to work on ground with field teams
  • Willingness to travel extensively across districts & talukas

Education

  • MBA / PGDM (Sales & Marketing) preferred

CTC

  • As per industry norms + performance incentives
