Role & responsibilities Area Sales Manager Experience: 5-8 years Key Skills: Sales and Marketing, Modern Trade, FMCG Sales, HORECA Sales, Should have handled teams, presently designated as ASM's or 50's handling territory Industry: Any FMCG industry, preferably Beverage Industry Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales team of an assigned territory. Setting reasonable sales targets to be achieved by the sales team. Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets. Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management. Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness. Utilizing outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales. Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers. Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects. Maintaining and increasing sales of your company's products. Reaching the targets and goals set for your area. Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base. Servicing the needs of your existing customers. Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market. Knowledge: Sound knowledge of sales and sales administration processes. Strong understanding of modern trade and general trade. Understanding of Food Services business and HORECA would be preferable.
