Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all manufacturing and operational departments ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
  
• Plan and implement production schedules and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
  
• Manage procurement of raw materials and packaging materials in coordination with the purchase team while ensuring cost-effectiveness and supplier reliability.
  
• Supervise technical and maintenance teams to reduce downtime and ensure smooth functioning of machinery.
  
• Oversee dispatch and logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of finished goods with zero errors.
  
• Ensure proper inventory management, storage, and FIFO compliance across warehouse and stores.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  
• Monitor KPIs across departments and take corrective actions to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  
• Ensure adherence to statutory, quality, and food safety compliances (FSSAI, ISO, etc.).
  
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and improve overall plant efficiency and resource utilization.
  
• Train, mentor, and evaluate department heads and their teams to build a strong operational workforce.
  
• Generate reports and present performance metrics and improvement plans to senior management.
  

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 710 years of experience in operations management, preferably in an FMCG or beverage industry.
  
• Strong knowledge of production systems, material procurement, logistics, technical maintenance, and warehousing.
  
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and manufacturing dashboards.
  
• Excellent communication and interdepartmental coordination skills.
