Operations Head – Food Manufacturing Unit (Full Responsibility Role) Location: [Laskana,Surat, Gujarat] Company: Surtimix – Ready-to-Eat & Ready-to-Cook Food Products Experience: 5–10 years in manufacturing operations (preferably food/FMCG) About the Role We are looking for a highly responsible and result-driven professional to lead overall factory operations at our food manufacturing unit. This person will act as the commanding officer of the plant — ensuring that every department (Production, Purchase, Inventory, Dispatch, and Admin) runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll have the authority to hire, train, or replace team members as required and the freedom to organize shifts (including overtime or overnight work) to achieve production and dispatch targets. --- Key Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end factory operations — Production, Packing, Purchase, Inventory, and Dispatch. Lead and motivate departmental staff to meet targets and maintain quality. Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and FSSAI standards. Plan, monitor, and achieve daily/weekly/monthly output goals. Implement process improvements and introduce automation where possible. Take manpower decisions — hiring, training, or replacing staff when necessary. Maintain coordination with management and report key metrics daily. Create a disciplined, high-performance work culture. --- Qualifications & Skills MBA (Operations / General Management) or B.Tech / Diploma (Industrial / Food Technology). 5–10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations (preferably food/FMCG). Strong knowledge of production planning, manpower management, and resource allocation. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
