About The Opportunity

Industry: Technology-enabled staffing & freelance marketplace operating in the HR and Professional Services sector. We deliver talent solutions and managed services to enterprises across India and are rapidly scaling regional commercial operations to capture new market share.Primary title (LinkedIn-optimized): Regional Sales ManagerWorkplace: On-site — IndiaRole & Responsibilities
  • Own regional revenue targets: develop and execute territory plans to consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Lead and develop a direct sales team: recruit, coach, set quotas, run performance reviews, and scale high-performing sellers across the region.
  • Build and manage pipeline: drive end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to close, maintain accurate forecasts, and convert pipeline into contracted revenue.
  • Manage strategic accounts and channel partners: establish long-term relationships with enterprise customers and referral partners to expand wallet share.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements: own pricing, contracts, and deal structuring for complex B2B engagements while protecting margin and reducing sales cycle time.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: partner with marketing, operations, delivery, and customer success to ensure smooth onboarding, high retention, and scalable operations.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
  • Proven regional B2B sales experience with a track record of achieving revenue targets and scaling a field sales team.
  • Strong experience in territory planning, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
  • Demonstrated success managing and growing key enterprise accounts and closing complex contracts.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and reporting (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent negotiation and commercial structuring skills, with a focus on margin preservation.
  • Willingness to work on-site across assigned cities in India and travel regionally as required.

Preferred

  • Experience in staffing, freelance marketplace, HR services, or B2B SaaS sales.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or other sales engagement platforms and advanced Excel for analytics.
  • MBA or equivalent business/commerce qualification and prior experience managing multi-city teams.
