Job Description

Regional Sales Manager – Projects (PUF Panels & Cold Storage Solutions)


Location:


Pune, Maharashtra


Reporting To:


National Sales Head / Director – Sales & Marketing



Role Purpose:


Lead and drive project sales of PUF panels, cold storage solutions, and allied products in the assigned region. Develop new business with project developers, consultants, and contractors while building long-term relationships with key customers and channel partners.



Key Responsibilities:


1. Business Development & Sales

• Identify and acquire new project customers (cold storage, food processing units, industrial refrigeration, warehouses, pharma, etc.).

• Achieve sales and revenue targets for PUF panels and cold storage projects in the region.

• Develop relationships with architects, consultants, builders, and contractors.

• Ensure timely preparation of proposals, tenders, and quotations.


2. Project & Account Management

• Manage end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to order closing.

• Coordinate with internal design/engineering teams for project drawings, BOQs, and technical clarifications.

• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure smooth execution of orders.


3. Channel Partner & Network Development

• Build and manage channel partners/installers for cold storage projects.

• Train and support partners on technical and commercial aspects of PUF panels and cold storage systems.


4. Market Intelligence & Strategy

• Track competitor activities, market trends, and pricing.

• Provide periodic MIS reports on sales, pipeline, and forecasts to senior management.

• Contribute to regional marketing activities, exhibitions, and seminars.


5. Team Leadership (if applicable)

• Guide and support Area Sales Executives or Sales Engineers in the region.

• Conduct regular reviews and training sessions to improve performance.



Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of PUF panels, cold storage solutions, and industrial refrigeration applications.

• Proven track record in project/solution sales.

• Good understanding of tendering, BOQs, and project costing.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to develop relationships with decision makers (builders, consultants, procurement heads).

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.



Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Industrial preferred) or MBA in Marketing/Sales.

• 6–10 years of experience in project-based sales (PUF panels, cold storage, pre-engineered buildings, or related industries).

• Knowledge of regional market and existing network of contacts preferred.



KPIs / Success Metrics:

• Achieving quarterly and annual sales targets.

• Growth in new project accounts.

• Timely collection of payments and maintaining credit control.

• Regional market share increase and brand visibility.
