We are looking for a seasoned Regional Business Head to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer excellence across key zones in India’s Food Ingredients and Bakery Solutions sector. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires a blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and strong execution capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing large-scale B2B and institutional sales operations within the Food & Beverages ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive regional business strategies aligned with company growth goals and market opportunities.
Lead the annual sales planning, forecasting, and budgeting process for the assigned region.
Identify new market segments, product opportunities, and business partnerships to expand regional presence.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
Business Development & Key Account Management
Build and sustain long-term partnerships with strategic customers in the Bakery, Food Service, Confectionery, Dairy, and Beverage sectors.
Negotiate commercial contracts and ensure successful implementation of business agreements.
Drive new client acquisition through structured outreach, networking, and participation in industry events.
Develop customized solutions for large institutional clients to enhance market competitiveness.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, coach, and motivate regional sales teams to achieve business targets and uphold organizational values.
Establish strong performance management systems, including KPIs, incentive structures, and skill enhancement programs.
Create a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Market Insights & Performance Analysis
Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to anticipate risks and identify opportunities.
Provide actionable insights to the executive team through detailed reports, dashboards, and strategic recommendations.
Ensure optimal resource utilization and adherence to financial targets.
Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to ensure efficient inventory planning and logistics coordination.
Liaise with Finance, HR, and Operations for smooth execution of zonal activities and business continuity.
Represent the organization at national and regional forums, exhibitions, and client conferences.

Qualifications & Experience
Education: MBA or Master’s in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from a reputed institution.
Experience: Minimum 12 years in regional or national sales leadership roles within Food Ingredients, Bakery, FMCG, or Food Services industries (preferably in organizations with revenue of ₹500 Cr+).
Team Management: Proven track record of leading teams of 8–10+ professionals and managing revenue portfolios of ₹30–40 Cr+.
Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the Indian Bakery, Processed Foods, Dairy, Beverages, and Frozen Foods sectors.
Other: Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for growth.

Role Details
Reporting To: Head of Sales / Managing Director
Geographical Coverage: Assigned regional cluster (North, South, East, or West India)
Travel Requirement: Extensive (up to 50%)
Work Model: Full-time; hybrid/field-based
Career Progression: Opportunity to advance to National Business Head / Chief Sales Officer based on performance.
